Aluminum Tri-Axle Dump Trucks

Aluminum Tri-axle dump trucks are lighter weight than steel tri-axle dump trucks. Although they both have four axles - the steer axle in front and three axles in back with one of the axles moveable up and down via a control in the cab, so the tires aren't on the road if the truck is not loaded, an aluminum tri-axle dump truck is used to carry smaller size material.
